One thing I'll always fondly remember about this era was the explosion of on-the-street poster art. Any band could come up with a cool flyer, take it to Kinkos and have hundreds copied, and then hit the street all night with a staple gun putting them up anywhere you thought you could get away with. I did this many, many times. The next day, everyone could appreciate (or be annoyed by) your band's personal artistic vision. Some groups are remembered more today for their flyers than by their music. This is a great example of a vintage poster. The venue was a fine little room in Richmond. Va. It's long gone.
