1980. I heard The Clash and got a new haircut. This was taken very near the end of Dodge d'Art. After several years of struggling, we had made an album, gotten a new drummer, Jude Hall, and learned a few things. When the whole "new wave-punk" thing started to happen, I'll tell you, it was a mighty cool time to be out there playing and I have some great memories. The band actually started to be successful. And then, like most groups who don't know any better, we broke up. The Dodge d'Art album, which still sounds fine today 30 years later, will be re-issued in a digital re-master through the Alpha Sound Archive Series.
